Warranty & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Castlewood Gardens. We invite you to join our Loyalty Program to receive rewards and easily track your purchases.

At Castlewood Gardens, we are passionate about high-quality plant material and take great care in growing and sourcing the best possible products. While plants are in our nursery, we strive to provide optimal care. However, once plant material leaves our nursery, we no longer have control over planting conditions, watering, maintenance, or environmental factors.

We strongly encourage customers to review the care instructions available at our office and welcome any questions you may have. Proper planting and care greatly increase the likelihood of long-term success.

Warranty Policy

1-Year Limited Plant Warranty
The following plant material is eligible for warranty when purchased at full retail pricing:

Trees
Shrubs
Perennial grasses

The warranty period is one (1) year from the original date of purchase.

Coverage

Plants Installed by Castlewood Gardens
Eligible plant material planted by Castlewood Gardens is warrantied for 100% of the original plant purchase price.

Plants Not Installed by Castlewood Gardens
Eligible plant material not planted by Castlewood Gardens is warrantied for 50% of the original plant purchase price.

Warranty Conditions

Warranty applies only to plant material that has died or is determined to be long-term irreparably compromised.
Warranty is issued only as store credit toward the purchase of replacement plant material.
No cash refunds will be given.
Replacement plant material purchased with warranty credit does not carry any additional warranty.
Labor, installation, removal, delivery, and service fees are not covered.
All warranties are subject to management approval.

Exclusions

Plants left in containers
Trees used as living Christmas trees
Perennial flowers
Houseplants
Annuals
Japanese Maples (even if planted by Castlewood Gardens)
Plant material sold at a discount greater than 20%
Plant material sold at wholesale pricing
Planting services or labor
Damage caused by insects, animals, vandalism, neglect, improper care, or Acts of God (including extreme weather conditions)
Plants able to recover in the future. Plants are living organisms and may exhibit signs of dieback, leaf drop or early fall color due to many factors such as drought, weather conditions, transplant shock or other environmental stresses. Plants that are expected to recover over time are not covered under warranty.

Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, please email the following to: warranty@castlewoodgardens.com

Include:

Your name
A copy of the original receipt
Clear photos of the plant material in question

Management review and approval are required prior to issuing any warranty credit. Once warranty credit is issued it must be used within 90 days.

Refund Policy

Plant Material
Please select plant material carefully.
All plant sales are final once the plant material leaves the nursery.
Trees, shrubs, perennial grasses, perennials, and annuals are not eligible for return or credit after leaving the premises.
Plant material purchased but not removed from the nursery may be returned within 7 days of purchase, subject to a 2.9% processing fee for credit card transactions only. Cash or check purchases are not subject to any fee.

Non-Living Merchandise
Non-living items may be returned within 7 days of purchase for store credit only, provided they are in original condition.
All refunds and returns are subject to management approval.
